Background
The contract involves the replacement of repairs/installation of chain-link fencing and related work at various Army installations on the Island of Oahu, Hawaii. The work is to be performed in accordance with technical provisions prepared by the Directorate of Public Works, U.S. Army Garrison, Hawaii. The scope of work includes conforming to UFC 4-022-03 Security Fences and Gates and FE-7 Chain Link Security Fence Details. It does not cover fence posts, chain-link fencing, or related work that might arise as part of the contract to repair or renovate a building or group of buildings. Additionally, it excludes projects awarded by The U.S. Army Engineering District, Honolulu, excluding the Medical Facilities under Tripler (TAMC), to be designated during the contract period.

Work Details
The work covered by this contract includes furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, and all incidental related services for the replacement of repairs/installation of chain-link fencing and related work at various Army installations on the Island of Oahu, Hawaii. The estimated quantities of work are provided for information purposes only, and the actual quantities ordered may vary.
The locations of work sites include Fort Shafter Area, Fort Shafter, Fort DeRussy, Tripler Army Medical Center, Aliamanu Military Reservation, Schofield Barracks Area (including East Range & Leilehua Golf Course, Wheeler Army Airfield, and Helemano Military Reservation). The exact locations will be shown in the contract schedule.

The geographic location for the construction projects is on the Island of Oahu, Hawaii.
