Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, TX, requires onsite Emergency Medicine Physician and Advance Practice Providers (Certified Physician Assistants/Licensed Nurse Practitioners) to provide Emergency Room services to eligible beneficiaries. Work Details
The contractor is required to provide Onsite Emergency Room Physician and Advance Practice Providers Services in Houston, TX. The services include evaluation, emergent treatment and management, patient care performance, medical/clinical knowledge, practiced-based learning and improvement, interpersonal and communication skills, professionalism, system-based practice, patient access, patient safety, maintaining licensing/registration/certification, mandatory training completion, privacy/confidentiality/HIPAA compliance, EDIS utilization training completion and utilization of the software as designed.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the contract is from the effective date of 09-21-2023 until 10-20-2023 at 12pm CDT.
