Background
NASA Goddard is seeking to procure a brand name requirement for One Pyroprobe® 6200 Pyrolyzer, which will be utilized for molecular analysis of solid samples.
The goal of this contract is to acquire the necessary equipment along with installation and training services from authorized distributors only, ensuring compliance with OEM standards.

Work Details
The contract requires the delivery of One Pyroprobe® 6200 Pyrolyzer (Part Number: 6204-5006) along with related accessories.
Key specifications include:
- Drop-In Sample Chamber (DISC) technology for reproducible, contamination-free sample introduction.
- Built-in analytical trap supporting PY-TRAP-GC workflows and reactant gas capability.
- Programmable heating from ambient to 1300 °C with ±0.1 °C NIST-traceable temperature accuracy.
- Cryo Trap integration for enhanced volatile compound trapping and analytical flexibility.
- Automated 48-position autosampler compatibility for unattended operation.
- Direct GC-MS interfacing with automated remote start capability.
- Compatibility to PerkinElmer GC 2400 unit.
- CDS software and system integration protocols.
Additionally, factory-certified installation, calibration, and training must be provided exclusively by an OEM technician.
