The Albuquerque Area Indian Health Service (IHS) has a requirement for one (1) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide Non-Personal Healthcare Services for the New Sunrise Regional Treatment Center (NSRTC) located in Pueblo of Acoma, NM.

This combined synopsis/solicitation is a Request for Quote (RFQ), in accordance with FAR Parts 12 & 13.

Background
The Albuquerque Area Indian Health Service (IHS), part of the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), is seeking to award a contract for one Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide Non-Personal Healthcare Services at the New Sunrise Regional Treatment Center (NSRTC) located in Pueblo of Acoma, NM.

The NSRTC is a 24-bed residential facility that offers culturally relevant and traditional therapy-oriented programs for Native American adolescents. The goal of this contract is to enhance mental health services provided to this population.

Work Details
The LCSW will deliver a full range of professional clinical mental health services, including evaluation, diagnosis, consultation, counseling, referral, psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and treatment of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. Key tasks include:
- Applying professional knowledge of adolescent issues and evidence-based treatment approaches such as Prolonged Exposure Therapy, Cognitive Processing Treatment, Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing.
- Addressing complex patient needs including major affective disturbances, schizophrenia, substance use disorders, character disturbances, and trauma-related issues.
- Utilizing the DSM-5 for diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Providing written and verbal reports on patient progress to individuals and groups.
- Ensuring culturally competent care tailored to the unique challenges faced by Native American youth.
