Old Gate Replacement at Martin State Airport Maryland Air National Guard Base   2

Background
The Maryland Air National Guard is issuing this solicitation for the Old Gate Replacement project at Martin State Airport. The mission of the Maryland Air National Guard includes ensuring the security and operational readiness of its facilities. The goal of this contract is to replace damaged gates and enhance security measures at the Entry Control Point (ECP) on the base.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all necessary manpower, labor, equipment, materials, supervision, management, and financial resources to complete the following tasks:

1. Remove and replace two damaged manual swing gates, six in-ground anti-vehicle bollards, and approximately 9 linear feet of perimeter fencing at the Hwy 43 Entry Control Point (ECP) on the MDANG Base. All work must comply with the Statement of Work (SOW), specifications, applicable codes, local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards and commonly accepted best practices.

2. Demolish and remove the existing pedestrian turnstile gate and associated 9' x 9' concrete pad, including installation of UFC-compliant decorative fencing to secure the opening created by the removed turnstile.

Period of Performance
The contractor shall begin performance within 10 calendar days after receiving notice to proceed and complete it within 270 calendar days after receiving notice to proceed.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at Martin State Airport National Guard Base in Middle River, Maryland.
