Oil Water Separator Cleaning and Waste Disposal Services for Fort Drum, NY

Background
The U.S. Army is seeking contractors to provide Oil Water Separator Cleaning and Waste Disposal Services at Fort Drum, NY. The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper maintenance and disposal of waste from oil water separators, which are critical for environmental compliance and operational efficiency. Historically, an average of 25 separators are serviced annually, with a total waste volume of approximately 80,000 gallons. The separators are primarily used in car washes, equipment maintenance floor drains, and aircraft hangar floor drains.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing all resources necessary to perform cleaning, recycling, and disposal of waste from Oil Water Separators (OWS) at Fort Drum. This includes handling both pumpable and non-pumpable solids and liquids, which may include hazardous materials as defined by federal regulations.

The work involves:
- Cleaning of oil water separators according to the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Attachment One - OWS List.
- Ensuring compliance with OSHA standards for confined spaces during the cleaning process.
- The contractor must be equipped to manage various types of debris including rags, wood, glow sticks, absorbent materials, and other unclassified debris.
- The contractor must designate a Project Manager responsible for overall management and coordination of the work.

Period of Performance
The contract period is from June 1, 2025 to May 31, 2028.
