Description

This is a 4-tiered evaluation for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business then Veteran Owned
Small Business then Small Businesses and last Large Business.

The purpose of this contract is to manufacture and distribute marble blanks to cemeteries which have on-site inscription programs nationwide CONUS. Currently there are16 locations for receipt but that is subject to change. The Contractor shall be responsible for providing all labor and materials needed to produce the blank monuments, package/label/palletize the monuments and deliver FOB Origin.

Stone shall only be from a quarry located in the United States.
At award, Contractor will be given approximate annual amounts to be delivered. Shipments are monthly. There are usually no deliveries scheduled for October. Contractor shall have loads ready to ship on the second Monday of each month, shifting for Federal Holidays, starting November.

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), National Cemetery Administration (NCA) is responsible for providing headstones, markers, niche covers, and medallions for deceased veterans worldwide.

This contract aims to manufacture and distribute marble blanks to cemeteries with on-site inscription programs across the continental United States (CONUS). Currently, there are 16 locations designated for receipt of these products, although this number may change.

Work Details
The contractor will manufacture U1 marble blank markers from stone sourced exclusively from quarries located in the United States.

The contractor is responsible for all labor and materials necessary to produce the blank monuments, which must be packaged, labeled, and palletized for delivery. Deliveries will occur monthly, with no shipments scheduled for October.

The contractor must have loads ready to ship on the second Monday of each month, adjusting for Federal Holidays starting in November. At the time of award, approximate annual delivery amounts will be provided. Work must comply with all relevant regulations including OSHA and VA security policies.
