Background
The Office of Defense Cooperation in Madrid, Spain, is seeking custodial and office support services to maintain its facilities. The agency's mission involves managing real property owned or operated by the Office of Defense Cooperation.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, management, supervision, and quality control necessary to perform custodial and office support services.

Daily tasks include emptying waste baskets, dusting furniture, sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming rugs, cleaning toilets and mirrors, and polishing entrance doors. Weekly tasks involve cleaning bathroom tiles and unloading mail. Every two weeks, exterior frames and glasses are cleaned. Monthly tasks include dusting walls and trim, polishing floors in corridors, dusting hallway light fixtures, and cleaning upholstered furniture. Twice a year involves shampooing rugs and carpets. Every two years requires uninstalling, transporting, cleaning, and reinstalling curtains and blinds.

Office support includes plumbing repairs like unclogging toilets and fixing leaks; minor electrical work such as changing light bulbs; general repairs to facilities like fixing blinds and door locks.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a base period of 12 months from August 30, 2023 to August 29, 2024 with four option periods each lasting 12 months until August 29, 2028.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Office of Defense Cooperation in Madrid, Spain.
