O&M with Repair and Minor Construction at NMCSD   4

Background
The solicitation is for a firm-fixed price, stand-alone 'C' type contract to perform operations and maintenance (O&M) with repair and minor construction in support of the Defense Health Agency (DHA) program at Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD). The agency has determined that a consolidation of contract requirements is necessary and justified, as per 7.107-5.

Work Details
The contract will cover activities at the Naval Medical Center San Diego, including O&M, incidental repair, and minor construction for medical/healthcare and their support facilities. The work requirements include preventive, predictive, unscheduled, and emergency maintenance of all facility systems and components. The contract will be for one twelve-month base year with three one-year options, for a total of four years.
The acquisition strategy intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) 'C' contract under Part 16.202. The planned stand-alone 'C' type contract will provide full-service repair and construction of real property facilities and/or their systems and components throughout the NMCSD Command.

Period of Performance
The period of performance will be for one twelve-month base year with three one-year options, totaling four years.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at two or more discrete sites across the NMCSD command in Southern California.
