Description

(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

(ii) This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ).

(iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2024-05.

(iv) This procurement is a Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code is 238210 - Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors and the Small Business Size Standard is less than $15M.

(v) Schedule of Items/Price Schedule

Project Description: Quote shall include all labor/installation at a fixed price. 48 channel HD over coaxial, smartbox system. Over the air antenna with ATSC converter will be combined into the smartbox. local channels will be independent of the smartbox, if satellite goes down for any reason the over the air channels will work.

A site visit may be offered to fully understand requirement. Reach out to POCs for dates/times for site visit. For planning purposes the POC on site is available 27 June.

Background

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to provide one (1) system for the NYC Field Office. The project description includes the installation of a 48 channel HD over coaxial smartbox system with an over the air antenna and ATSC converter. The site visit may be offered for better understanding of the requirement. The delivery/installation must be completed no later than 15 September 2024, with the anticipation of installation beginning no sooner than August 1 but no later than the first week in September.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the contract is from the anticipated installation start date (no sooner than August 1) to September 15, 2024.
