NY EZ Pass

The Bureau of Fiscal Service (Fiscal Service), on behalf of the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA) intends to make award to City of New York dba: MTA Bridges and Tunnel, 2 Broadway BSMT B, New York, NY 10004-3354, on a sole source basis, under authority of FAR 6.302-1, for E-Z Pass prepaid toll services. City of New York dba: MTA Bridges and Tunnel has been identified as the only source capable of providing the E-Z Pass prepaid toll services that suits the needs of the TIGTA.

TIGTA requires E-Z Pass prepaid toll services to be used for government owned vehicles on official business. E-Z Pass is the only provider of these prepaid toll services for the New York area.

No solicitation package will be issued. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations; however, the Government will consider responses received by no later than 10:00 am (EST) on August 31, 2021.

Responses shall be submitted electronically to Purchasing@fiscal.treasury.gov, Attn: KZ/ED. Responses must be supported with clear and convincing evidence to clearly be able to provide the services outlined in this notice.

A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
