NxStage Portable Home use dialysis machines

Background
The Whiteriver Indian Hospital (WRIH) is located at Whiteriver, AZ on the Fort Apache Indian Reservation. It is a 40-bed facility providing various medical services, including general medical, pediatrics, alcohol treatment, mental health, and obstetric services.

The hospital serves approximately 17,000 tribal members, many of whom have end-stage renal disease requiring hemodialysis. Currently, patients needing inpatient dialysis must be transported to other facilities due to WRSU's lack of capability to provide this service. Establishing this service at WRIH aims to enhance local care and reduce patient transfers.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide two home-dialysis machines – NxStage or equivalent. These machines must use pre-mixed bagged dialysate and not require a water source, filtration, or quality testing.

The contractor will also supply a service contract for an initial period plus four additional years and provide in-person training for WRIH staff, including sample policies and competencies. Responsibilities include supplying the dialysis equipment as described and submitting proper invoices for payment.
