Army Contracting Command-Redstone Arsenal, Technology Development Directorate Aviation, located in Fort Eustis, Virginia, intends to solicit and award a Firm Fixed Price purchase order on a sole source basis to Applied CAX, LLC. Cage 7G1V4 2512 SE 25th Ave Ste 205 Portland, Oregon 97202-2075, USA, to provide NX Nastran/FEMAP Analysis Software Annual Licenses with Maintenance Agreement. The period of performance of the purchase order will be twelve (12) months from the date of award. The anticipated award date is 15 September 2022. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency; however, a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106(1)(b). Soliciting from a Single Source. A justification to not compete this acquisition has been properly executed and is included with this notice. The justification addresses the requirements of FAR 5.207(c)(15), reason for lack of competition.
