Nuclear Materials Management and Safeguards System

Background
This acquisition action is in support of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Office of Environment, Safety, and Health (NA-ESH), Nuclear Materials Integration Division (NA-ESH-12).

The contracting activity is the NNSA Headquarters Mission Support Acquisition Branch (NA-PAS-316). This sole source action is conducted under the authority of the General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple-Award Schedule (MAS) Program.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide expert logisticians who can deliver nuclear stockpile logistics and sustainment management in support of weapons programs.

Tasks include: assisting in the development of product support and sustainment-oriented processes, systems, and policies; conducting independent logistics and sustainment analysis; performing non-nuclear engineering and technical analyses related to life cycle planning, management, and program execution; supporting test and evaluation programs; and ensuring full scope coverage of all logistics support elements and their interfaces.

The services are critical for the ongoing operational support of the Nuclear Materials Management and Safeguards System (NMMSS), which sustains the nation’s nuclear weapon stockpile within various technical, programmatic, and policy constraints.

Period of Performance
The performance period will be from March 26, 2026 to September 25, 2027 if the option is exercised.
