Description

The U.S. Department of Energy, National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), Contracts and Procurement Division intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) to Banda Group International, LLC. (BGI) for Nuclear Explosive Safety (NES) Technical & Management services, including the services of NNSA-certified Senior Technical Advisors (STA's), in support of the NNSA's Office of Environment, Safety, and Health. BGI historically provided the required services to NNSA through the Small Business Administration's 8(a) program (which it is now graduated from), and it is unique in that it is the only known source that can currently provide the qualified STA's necessary to meet NNSA's requirements (STAs are required by DOE Directive to be certified through a combination of training and experience). The applicable NAICS is 541690 with a size standard of $19 million.

This Limited Source Justification is being made available to the public in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 & FAR 5.203(a).
