Description

Project Title: US Forest Service (FS) National Technology and Development Program (San Dimas) Fence Project.

Description: The contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, equipment, material, supervision, and expertise necessary to accomplish the project. This project is for the installation of chain-link fencing and two (2) motorized, swinging gates at the USFS NTDP campus.

Site Visit: The Forest Service will host a pre-bid site visit for interested parties at the NTDP (San Dimas) facility located at 444 E. Bonita Ave, San Dimas, CA 91773, on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, 1000 PST. See FAR 52.236-27.

Background
The US Forest Service (FS) National Technology and Development Program (NTDP) in San Dimas, CA is in the process of selling 8.95 acres of land. To ensure security of the remaining facilities, a security fence and gate will be installed. This will safeguard invaluable assets, sensitive information, and ongoing projects at NTDP. The security measure also provides delineation between the properties.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, equipment, material, supervision, and expertise necessary to accomplish the project.
This project is for the installation of chain link fencing and two (2) motorized, swinging gates at the USFS NTDP campus in San Dimas, CA.
The scope of work includes installing approximately 500 linear feet of 6-ft tall chain link fencing equipped with 3-string barbed wire and wind screens.
Additionally, the contractor is required to install two (2) motorized wrought iron swing gates integrated with an automation system for convenient operation.
The work also involves installing four (4) bollards to protect keypads from vehicular damage.

Period of Performance
The fence project shall be completed no later than November 30, 2023.
