This is a solicitation notice for a non-commercial supply purchase being solicited on the basis of full and open competition. It is intended to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract as a result of this notice. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) has established a requirement for the production, assembly, testing, and delivery of Plastic Waste Processing Equipment (PWPE) for US Navy ships.

Offerors must be registered in the SAM.gov database to be considered for award. See https://.sam.gov/ for further information and instructions.

Due to file size constraints, Attachment 1 Drawings of Record_PWPE (Inclusive is Attachments 1b through 1g) will solely be available upon written request. Requests for Attachment 1 shall be made within five (5) days of solicitation issuance and will be released using DoD SAFE. Requests should be submitted via e-mail to all of the following points of contact (POC):

The deadline for receipt of questions is ten (10) business days after date of solicitation issuance. Background
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) has established a requirement for the production, assembly, testing, and delivery of Plastic Waste Processing Equipment (PWPE) for US Navy ships. NSWCPD Code 335 provides ISEA via afloat and ashore guidance concerning equipment troubleshooting of environmental equipment, providing technical requirements to support the installation of this equipment by Supervisors of Shipbuilding (SUPSHIPs) and shipbuilders during design and installation of new construction ships.

Work Details
The contract is for the production, assembly, testing, and delivery of Plastic Waste Processing Equipment (PWPE) for US Navy ships. The specific products to be manufactured include MOD I CMU WITHOUT THE REAR ELECTRICAL ENCLOSURE (REE), MK III CMU REAR ELECTRICAL ENCLOSURE (REE) WITHOUT CMU, MINI-AUXILIARY UNIT (MINI-AU), BULKHEAD MOUNTED, AUXILIARY UNIT (AU), DECK MOUNTED, COMPRESS MELT UNIT RAM ASSEMBLY, COMPRESS MELT UNIT DOOR ASSEMBLY, and SOLID WASTE AUDIO-VISUAL MAINTENANCE INFORMATION SYSTEM (SWAMI). The contract also includes specific quantities and unit prices for each item.
