NSSF Emergency Diesel Generator (EDG) Preventative and Corrective Maintenance Service

Background
The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk (FLCN) intends to negotiate a sole source firm fixed price contract for NSSF Emergency Diesel Generator (EDG) Preventative Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance Service.

The Naval Submarine Support Facility (NSSF) R-6 Division provides emergency power to moored submarines aboard Naval Submarine Base in Groton, CT. The goal of this contract is to ensure continuous availability of emergency back-up power to maintain operational readiness of the Naval Fleet.

Work Details
The contract includes Semi-Annual Preventive and Corrective Maintenance Service for two CK Power 1100kw Emergency Diesel Generators (#4 and #5).

This involves four PM visits: two in September and two in April. The service must adhere to OEM maintenance specifications, including all necessary parts, software, fluids, consumables, labor, and travel costs to Groton, CT. Specific tasks include inspecting, testing, cleaning, lubricating, adjusting, calibrating equipment, and performing corrective maintenance within 24 hours of request.

The vendor must coordinate with the Government Technical Point of Contact (GTPOC) for scheduling and reporting maintenance activities within five business days after each visit.

Period of Performance
Base Year: 15 September 2024 - 14 September 2025; Option Year 1: 15 September 2025 - 14 September 2026; Option Year 2: 15 September 2026 - 14 September 2027; Option Year 3: 15 September 2027 - 14 September 2028; Option Year 4: 15 September 2028 - 14 September 2029; Additional Period: 15 September 2029 - 14 February 2030.
