Background
The Supply Chain Management Squadron located at Tinker Air Force Base is conducting market research to identify potential sources for the new manufacture of specific items related to NSN2840-01-035-2030.

The goal of this effort is to determine if the requirement can be competitive or a Small Business Set-Aside. This Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) is not a Request for Proposal and does not indicate any contractual commitment or availability of funds.

Work Details
Potential sources must be capable of providing all labor, materials, facilities, and equipment necessary for the new manufacture of the listed items. This includes: procurement/manufacture of component parts, inspection, testing, preservation/packaging, and shipping.

Additionally, responsibilities may include supply chain management, logistics planning, forecasting production requirements, long-lead time parts procurement, addressing diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages, and shipping serviceable assets. Potential sources may also incur nonrecurring engineering costs associated with becoming an approved source.
