Background
The USDA Forest Service is seeking a contractor to provide lawn care and flower bed maintenance services at their Northern Research Station in Hamden, CT. The contractor is expected to provide all necessary management, supervision, labor, materials, supplies, transportation, and equipment for the specified services. A site visit is highly encouraged before quoting the requirement.

The period of performance for the contract is from 06/21/2023 to 11/01/2027.

Work Details
The contractor is required to perform grass cutting, maintaining edging along sidewalks, driveways, curbs, and bedding areas, trimming around existing structures and trees, picking up and disposing of any trash and fallen limbs that would impede mowing. Additionally, weeding and trimming of flower beds and indicated areas are necessary once or twice a year. The contract includes a base year from 06/21/2023 to 11/05/2023 and four one-year options thereafter.
