Description

Alamosa and Costilla Counties, Colorado

The Contractor shall furnish the necessary personnel, supplies, materials, and incidentals necessary to provide Cultural Resource Inventory and Recordation services for NRCS-Colorado as described below and in accordance with the work statement attached to and hereby made a part of this solicitation.

The NRCS is providing federal funding through the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Farm Bill for Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) projects in multiple counties throughout the state of Colorado. These projects are undertakings under Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) and its implementing regulations, 36 CFR 800. Historic property identification and documentation within the respective areas of potential effect (APE) is required under 36 CFR 800.4. This requirement is for pedestrian survey and cultural resources documentation within the APEs described in the attached statement of work (SOW).
