The intent of this notice is to solicit and award a sole source Firm Fixed-Price contract pursuant to authority granted under 41 U.S.C 3304(a)(1), and Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(B), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Defense Logistics Agency Constracting Services Office intends to solicit and award a sole source Firm Fixed-Price contract for preventative maintenance services on utomated material management storage and retrieval equipment for which maintenance services are required to ensure operational availability in order to maintain the warranty to the OEM ( Kardex Remstar); Heubel Material Handling, 6311 Equitable Road, Kansas City,Missouri 64120-1332

This procurement shall be made under North American Industrial Classification Systems (NAICS) Code: 811310 Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance The size standard is $11M.

This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ) or Request for Proposal (RFP). This is a notice of intent to award a sole source award to Solar Turbines Inc. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.

This Intent to Sole Source Notice is being issued by the Defense Logistics Agency Constracting Services Office. The place of performance will be Tinker AFB, 6001 Arnold Street Tinker AFB, OK, United States 73145

The requirement is to provide the necessary, management, equipment, labor, mobilizations, supplies and supervision to perform extended warranty/preventive maintenance to the 24 pieces of industrial automated material management storage and retrieval equipment for which maintenance services are required to ensure operational availability. The maintenance services shall include three types of service: scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PM), unscheduled On Call Remedial Maintenance, and unscheduled emergency maintenance. DLA Aviation equipment maintenance requirements are subject to change by the Government when equipment addition(s) and/or deletion(s) are required due to equipment disposal or replacement. with 99% reliability/availability, best possible fuel efficiency and planned downtime.
