The Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific intends to
award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to Ocean Power
Technologies, Inc. (CAGE: 04EP7) of 28 Engelhard Drive, Monroe Township, New Jersey,
08831-3720. |
This requirement is for the following assets:
1)QTY 1ea: P/N: WAM-V16, Unmanned Wave Adaptive Modular Vessel
2)QTY 1ea: P/N: ERBP16, Extended Range Battery Package
3)QTY 1ea: P/N: RSM16, Retractable sensor mount
4)QTY 1ea: P/N: 2304-00, On/off switch Power 24-3500
5)QTY 2ea: P/N: 1984-00, Spare Propeller B 12 x 10.5 WDR
6)QTY 1ea: P/N: ELT16, Custom WAM-V Trailer
The proposed contract action is for commercial supplies for which the Government
intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901,
as implemented by FAR subpart 13.5. Acquisition of Commercial Items under FAR Part 12
and Simplified Acquisitions Procedures under FAR Part 13.5 apply. The applicable NAICS
Code is 334511 - Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical
System and Instrument Manufacturing, and the business size standard is 1,350
employees.
Please be advised the aforementioned information is anticipatory in nature and is not
binding. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based
upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any responsible source
believing that it can fulfill the requirement may submit a quotation which will be
considered by the agency. Quotes shall clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive
without compromising the quality, accuracy, and reliability of services provided.
