Notice of Intent to Sole Source to Groupware Incorporated

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), through the National Center for Environmental Health (NCEH) / Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR), intends to award a sole source, firm fixed-price purchase order for iSupport enterprise license renewal and single instance maintenance to Groupware Inc. The license and maintenance renewal is for a customized SaaS support system that is currently configured within the installed iSupport system of CDC and NCEH/ATSDR.This product provides comprehensive, technical, and administrative support through iSupport technologies that enable cost effective solutions that align with strategic goals, program needs, and existing compatbility with CDC's Enterprise Performance Life Cycle (EPLC) and other IT/Data security requirements. Accordingly, iSupport is an exclusive license by Groupware, Inc. and a legacy product required in order to maintain IT integrity and compatability within various CDC and NCEH/ATSDR information systems. This contract action is for supplies and ancillary services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (SAP) and 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1).

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within seven (7) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
