NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE

School Aged Children (SAC) Child Development Center (CDC) located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, OH

SPECIAL NOTICE: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Louisville District (USACE) will be soliciting proposals for the School Aged Children (SAC) Child Development Center (CDC) located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, OH.

As part of the construction contract solicitation, USACE intends to include the following sole source requirements:

Brand Name Sole Source - Trane Chillers - Manufacturer is required as they are the base standard for chiller systems.

Brand Name Sole Source - Johnson Controls Required for combined fire alarm and mass notification system equipment as the base standard.

Brand Name Sole Source - Linx Predator IDS equipment - Required to integrate into the existing building systems and include control panel, motion detectors, and balanced magnetic switches with tamper sensors as they are the base standard.

Only One Responsible Source - AES Ohio - Required provider of Electrical connection services at WPAFB, OH.

*This is not a solicitation for competitive proposals; however, if any interested party believes that they can meet the above requirement, they may submit a capability statement to the point of contact listed in this Special Notice. All information furnished must be in writing and must contain sufficient detail to allow USACE to be able to determine if the interested party can perform the requirement described herein.

All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. The submission must be received no later than 4:00 PM ET on 17 March 2023 to meranda.r.booth@usace.army.mil.
