Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Polar BEAR 130K Field Space Heater

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. In reference to FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), for purchases not exceeding the Simplified Acquisition Threshold and IAW the Simplified Acquisition Procedures for the procurement of Sole Source acquisitions, the exception at FAR 6.302-1(a) is justified in its authority under the procurement of this acquisition on the basis that the company, NGH Retail, is currently the only company that can meet the needs of this requirement. IAW FAR 6.302-1(a) - Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements - this purchase order is intended to be awarded as a sole source procurement to NGH Retail to fulfill the need for three (3) Polar BEAR 130K Field Space Heater - NSN 4520-01-521-2076EJ and one (1) Shipping for use on Tyndall, AFB.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by the date of close specified herein will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based
upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested parties may identify their interest and may submit a quote by 4:00 PM CST, 7 September 2022, which shall be considered by the Government.
