Description

Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Maintenance Service for One (1) North Star Imaging, Inc. (NSI), X-ray CT Scanner. Reference attachments titled, "Combination Synopsis-Solicitation for Commercial Purchase," "Provisions and Clauses Full-Text

Background
The U.S. Army Research Laboratory (ARL) has issued a Notice of Intent to Sole Source for the maintenance service of one North Star Imaging, Inc. (NSI) X-ray CT Scanner. The contract is being solicited under Subpart 12.6 and is intended to be a commercial, firm fixed price (FFP) contract.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide preventative and software maintenance for the X-ray CT Scanner located at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG). The contractor must schedule and perform three annual preventative maintenance on-site service visits, provide all necessary tools, equipment, and parts for maintenance, follow facility installation and access procedures, and conduct an eleven-point inspection during each visit.

Period of Performance
The contract includes a base year with four option years, each consisting of twelve-month periods.
