Notice of Intent to Sole Source for AFSIM Training

Background
The acquisition is being conducted by the ACC-PKJ, AMIC for the AFSIM FY26 Training program. The goal of this contract is to provide specialized, tailored AFSIM training services to enhance the proficiency of Department of Defense (DoD) personnel in using AFSIM for modeling and simulation in military operations.

The training will be awarded on a sole-source basis to Radiance Technologies due to their unique qualifications and ability to customize training content for DoD-specific scenarios.

Work Details
The contract involves the provision of a 4-day AFSIM User course and a 3-day AFSIM Developer course for up to 24 DoD personnel. The training will cover:
- AFSIM User Course: Basic training on the AFSIM platform, designed to familiarize participants with the tool's applications and features for system modeling and simulation, particularly as applied to JWAC analysis.
- AFSIM Developer Course: Advanced training for experienced programmers, focusing on customizing and developing AFSIM models for complex defense simulations.

These services are essential for ensuring that DoD personnel can effectively utilize AFSIM for operations analysis and simulation-based decision-making. There is potential for multiple years of this training to meet long-term Government needs related to AFSIM.

Place of Performance
The training will be delivered off-site at a location convenient for DoD personnel.
