Description

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT for the Government to award Sole Source contract for Central Alarm Monitoring System for the U.S. Embassy Harare. This contract shall be under NAICS code 561621 to Safeguard Security . The estimated period of performance is up to 2 years.

This is a sole source requirement in accordance with authority citation, 41 USC 253(c) (1), and Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Safeguard Security, is considered as the only responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. See attached J&A.

The services will be provided in Harare, Zimbabwe. This is not a request for proposal and the intent of this notice is to meet regulatory disclose requirements, however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the Department.
