Notice of Intent to Increase Ceiling on N66001-18-D-0023   3

Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific) intends to award a sole source cost-plus-fixed-fee contract modification to increase the contract ceiling on N66001-18-D-0023, awarded to Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC). This contract provides support to execute In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) functions for Afloat and Ashore Tactical Networks and C4I Systems. The applicable North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 541330. The current contract expires on 02 July 2023. This contract action will increase the ceiling by a not-to-exceed amount of $14,315,000. The period of performance will not be extended as a result of this action, as this additional ceiling is only intended to meet the immediate and urgent requirements of the fleet until such time that a follow-on contract can be awarded. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only the above mentioned source under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1: Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The J&A for this action will be posted in accordance with FAR 6.305. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, nor does it restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach.
