Notice of Intent to Limit Sources - Brand Name or Equal - Initial Outfitting Medical Center Addition and Alteration (MCAA), Naval Support Activity Bethesda Campus, Bethesda, MD   15

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Little Rock District has a requirement for Initial Outfitting of Medical Center Addition and Alteration (MCAA), Naval Support Activity Bethesda Campus. The planned renovations and additions are intended to provide wounder warriors, active-duty military personnel and their families with world-class healthcare services. This plan includes 124,050 GSF of renovations to currently occupied spaces, demolition of approximately 332,000 GSF of buildings, and construction of 590,000 GSF medical services building.

This requirement will include brand name or equal items as provided by the Designer of Record. This notice of intent is not to a request for quote/proposal. No solicitation document is available. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. Telephone responses and requests will not be received.

This acquisition is reserved for small business concerns. The government award will be based on best value. All prospective offerors interested in submitting a quote/proposal on this requirement must be registered in the SAM database. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make an offeror ineligible for award.

All offerors are responsible for downloading the solicitation and to frequently monitor for any amendments to the solicitation. A Limited Source Justification and Approval will be posted with the solicitation. Failure to respond to the solicitation and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipts of quote/proposal may render your quote/proposal non-responsive and result in rejection of the same.

A determination by the Government for a brand name justification for this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
