Notice of Intent to Sole Source

The Defense Health Agency intends to negotiate on a sole source basis (IAW FAR 13.501(a)), Only One Responsible Source. The proposed source is HILL-ROM, INC.

HILL-ROM, INC is the only source that can provide NC Silver Package Software Maintenance Agreement (SMA) for the Voalte Nurse Call System that meets Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton.

The objective of this sole source award for NHCP NC Silver Package Software Maintenance Agreement (SMA) for the Voalte Nurse Call System. The existing Voalte NURSE CALL SYSTEM is a Hill-Rom proprietary existing system installed inside the H200 Hospital. The Nurse Call System and the Software that runs it is a proprietary product of Hill-Rom.

Includes: Major & Minor Upgrades including Patches & Fixes for NNC Software, On-site Labor for Upgrades including Certifications, 24/7/365 Remote Technical Diagnostics & Support, Minor Configuration Changes (Performed Remotely) - Up to 4 Hours. Coverage For: 1st-4th Floor, 3rd Floor Centrak, Emergency Room, L&D, MIU. Continue Software maintenance service for NHCP Nurse Call System.

This requirement is for base plus four option year.

The period of performance is as follow:

Base year: 10/01/2023 to 09/30/2024

Option year 1: 10/01/2024 to 09/30/2025

Option year 2: 10/01/2025 to 09/30/2026

Option year 3: 10/01/2026 to 09/30/2027

Option year 4: 10/01/2027 to 09/30/2028

Location: Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton Box 555191 Camp Pendleton CA 92055-5191.

There are not set-aside restrictions for this requirement. The intended procurement will be classified under North America Industry Classification System (NAICS)541511, the business size standard is 34 (millions of dollars). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for this requirement. However, parties interested in responding to this notice will need to submit technical data sufficient to determine capability in providing the same product. All capability statements received by the closing date of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
