Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source Only

The United States Marine Corps Contracting Department at Marine Corps Installations East, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, is planning to award a sole source contract to Unique Communications Solutions for maintenance support services for the Configuration Accounting Information Retrieval System Telecommunications Management System (CAIRS TMS). The contract has an estimated value of $362,641.73 and includes a base period of 12 months with four 12-month option periods. Unique Communications Solutions is the sole proprietor, original equipment manufacturer, and the only authorized maintenance provider for the required services. Market research was conducted, and it was determined that Unique Communications Solutions holds a GSA contract until March 14, 2027. The CAIRS TMS is proprietary owned by Unique Communications Solutions, and there are no plans to compete future contracts for similar services until new software is implemented in the Marine Corps. The contract involves providing technical assistance services, extended technical assistance services, training, and remote diagnostics service for the CAIRS TMS and ancillary equipment located at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune in North Carolina.
