The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) intends to award a single source contract to ADC LTD NM.

The FAA proposes to acquire Contract Security Officer (CSO) services to increase physical security and safeguard FAA employees, facilities, and United States Government property and assets from loss, theft, damage, unauthorized use, criminal acts, espionage, sabotage, and terrorism in the Eastern Service Area. The acquisition will utilize single source procedures.

In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System, AMS 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source when it is determined to be in the best interest of the FAA. This will be a bridge contract award to maintain compliance with FAA Order 1600.69C while the FAA finalizes and implements its new procurement strategy for these services. This announcement is for informational purposes only and not a Solicitation/Request for Proposal. This requirement will be awarded to ADC LTD NM and is not available for full and open competition. All questions pertaining to this announcement should be addressed in writing to the Contracting Officer no later than 10 am EST on March 6, 2023.
