Notice of Intent to Award Ability One Custodial Services for March Air Reserve Base

Background
The 452d Mission Support Group is seeking to fulfill a requirement for non-personal custodial services at March Air Reserve Base. The goal of this contract is to ensure comprehensive cleaning and maintenance of facilities, aligning with the agency's mission to maintain operational readiness and a clean environment for personnel.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, and supervision necessary for custodial services. Key tasks include: routine space cleaning; floor care and maintenance; trash and recycling removal; restroom sanitation; periodic hard floor maintenance including cleaning, scrubbing, sealing, polishing/burnishing, waxing or deep scrubbing; periodic carpet restorative cleaning to remove embedded soil; low and high dusting in Level 4 facilities; and adherence to special requirements for specific facilities such as fitness centers.

The contractor must also provide all necessary equipment and vehicles in operable condition, maintain a professional appearance of vehicles, furnish restroom supplies including toilet tissue and paper towels made from recycled materials, and comply with various miscellaneous requirements such as reporting hazards and securing facilities.

Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance is a 12-month base period beginning July 01, 2026, with four additional 12-month option periods.
