Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract for Protocol and Event Management   3

This is a notification that the Missile Defense Agency intends to extend a sole source, cost-plus-fixed-fee "bridge" contract modification under statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy the Agency Requirements. This contract will be awarded to PeopleTec, Inc., 4901 Corporate Drive NW, Huntsville, AL 35805, to provide uninterrupted, high-quality continuity of support for the Agency's Protocol and Event Management. This effort is currently being performed under contract number HQ0147-16-C-0075, which expires on February 6, 2018.

The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541611, with a size standard of $15M. The resultant contract modification for Protocol and Event Management services will be for a base period of four (4) months with one (1) four (4) month option period.

This notice is not a request for proposals. This action will result in an extension to the existing "bridge" contract which is necessary to allow for continuity of critical contractor services until a competitive contract is awarded under the Technical Engineering, Advisory, and Management Support (TEAMS) acquisition strategy. Any information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for enhancing competition in a future competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for information submitted.
