Notice of Intent for Sole Source Award F-15 Eagle Passive/Active Warning and Survivability System (EPAWSS) Full Rate Production (FRP)

This is a Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source in accordance with FAR 5.201. The United States Air Force Life Cycle Maanagement Center intends to award a sole source contract to The Boeing Company for the F-15 Eagle Passive/Active Warning and Survivability System (EPAWSS) Full Rate Production (FRP) requirement. Contract requirements include tasks necessary for production, operation, and sustainment of the EPAWSS system F-15E model aircraft.

The proposed contract action will be awarded using Other Than Full and Open Competition procedures citing the authority at 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements." This contract action will not be awarded competitively and was not fixed-price.

This synopsis does not constitute an Invitation for Bids (IFS) or a Request for Proposal (RFP) nor does it restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach. The Government does nott intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice nor will it reimburse firms for any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice. Due to security access requirements, foreign participation is not permitted at the prime contractor level.
