Notice of Consolidation - Moss Landing Harbor Jetty Repair and Maintenance Dredging

Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, South Pacific Division, San Francisco District (SPN), has determined that consolidating the maintenance dredging requirement for Moss Landing Channel with the repair of Moss Landing Jetty is necessary and justified. This decision is based on the benefits of a consolidated acquisition exceeding those of alternative methods.

The consolidation aims to meet mission requirements effectively and efficiently.

Work Details
The scope of the contract includes maintenance dredging of the Moss Landing Channel and repairing the Moss Landing North and South Jetties (the latter being an option). Historically, these tasks were awarded under separate contracts.

The majority of work will focus on jetty repair, with dredging serving as an ancillary task. Consolidation allows compliance with USACE safety standards, ensures both actions can be completed within the same Fiscal Year (FY), and provides a single point of contact during the performance period. Due to safety regulations, only one contractor can operate in-water at any given time, making it impractical to complete both tasks under separate contracts within the same FY. The last dredging occurred in FY20, and jetty repairs were halted in FY23, necessitating immediate action for both tasks.
