Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) South Atlantic Division, Mobile District, is seeking architect-engineer (A-E) services to support its Civil Works Program. This procurement aims to establish a Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) with a shared capacity of $49 million over a five-year ordering period, open to all A-E firms regardless of size. The goal is to provide timely and cost-effective responses for various inland and coastal projects addressing flood damage, coastal erosion, and ecosystem restoration.

Work Details
The contract requires comprehensive A-E services for all phases of inland and coastal projects, including:
- Preliminary studies and complete project feasibility report development
- Engineering analysis and design
- Detailed construction plans and specifications
- Construction phase services.

Specific tasks may include:
- Comprehensive engineering services from feasibility studies to detailed plans for civil works projects
- Engineering modeling, design analysis, and documentation
- Cost estimating and surveying
- Flood damage risk reduction and coastal erosion management
- Beach nourishment and shoreline protection projects
- Navigation projects and watershed evaluations.

The work will primarily be conducted within the Mobile District area but may extend to Central and South America for relevant projects.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a five-year period with specific task orders negotiated annually.

Place of Performance
The primary place of performance is within the Mobile District area of responsibility in the southeastern United States.
