Notice for Architect and Engineering (A-E) Services to Support Planning, Design and Construction for the USACE South Atlantic Division, Mobile District, Military Design and Construction Program   2

Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) South Atlantic Division, Mobile District, is seeking Architect and Engineering (A-E) services to support its Military Design and Construction Program. This program aims to design facilities and infrastructure that meet the needs of various stakeholders, including the Army, Air Force, Navy, Special Operations Command, and Defense Health Programs. The goal of this contract is to provide timely and cost-effective engineering solutions for military installations and other projects under the Interagency/International Services (IIS) program.

Work Details
The selected firms will be responsible for a wide range of tasks including: conducting engineering studies, investigations, tests, evaluations, consultations; comprehensive scoping and planning; design and drawing reviews; managing renovation/repair projects such as building renovations and additions; overseeing new construction with associated infrastructure; master planning; preparing project definition documents; conducting charrettes; developing technical portions of design-build solicitations; performing value engineering studies; executing cost and schedule risk analysis; submitting environmental permit applications; conducting facility condition assessments; and developing construction plans, design analysis, and specifications for new vertical construction projects.

The work will primarily be conducted in the Mobile District Area of Responsibility (AOR) using advanced modeling software such as AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit BIM, Bentley BIM, or MicroStation. All design drawings must meet specific project requirements outlined in the AE scope of work.

Period of Performance
The period of performance will span multiple years as determined by task orders issued under the contract.

Place of Performance
The majority of work will be performed at military installations within the Mobile District Area of Responsibility (AOR), with potential assignments at other locations as directed.
