Background
The U.S. Marine Corps Base Camp Smedley D. Butler in Okinawa, Japan, is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive grounds maintenance services across various locations including Camp Schwab, Henoko Station, Camp Courtney, Camp Hansen, Camp Gonsalves/Northern Training Area (NTA), Camp McTureous, Ammunitions Supply Point (ASP) #2, Central Training Area (CTA), and Taiyo Roads and Parking Areas.

The goal of this contract is to ensure the upkeep and maintenance of these facilities to support the mission of the Marine Corps.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, incidental engineering, and other items necessary to perform grounds maintenance services. The work includes both recurring and non-recurring tasks as detailed in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).

Key tasks include:
- General Information: Understanding the scope of work as outlined in Annexes 3 through 18.
- Management and Administrative Requirements: Adhering to specified management protocols and administrative requirements.
- Recurring Work Requirements: Regularly scheduled maintenance tasks that must be performed consistently throughout the contract period.
- Non-Recurring Work Requirements: Tasks that are not scheduled regularly but may arise as needed.
- Quality Management System (QMS): Establishing a QMS to ensure compliance with performance objectives and standards.
- Personnel Requirements: Providing qualified personnel for key roles including Project Manager and Quality Manager.

Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance is a twelve (12) month Base Period followed by seven (7) one-year Option Periods for a total of eight (8) years.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at various locations within U.S. Marine Corps Base Camp Butler in Okinawa, Japan.
