North Atlantic Division FY25 Dredge Schedule Notification

Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), North Atlantic Division (NAD) is preparing for the Fiscal Year 2025 projects scheduled for solicitation. This initiative aims to address various dredging projects across multiple districts, including Norfolk, Baltimore, Philadelphia, New York, and New England. The goal is to maintain and enhance navigational channels and coastal areas as part of their civil works mission.

Work Details
The contract encompasses a range of dredging tasks including: Coastal Beach Projects (CSRM) and Navigation Projects; removal of approximately 3.2 million cubic yards (CY) from federal channels annually; maintenance of 87 miles of deep draft channels at 50 feet depth and over 200 miles of shallow draft channels; management of 37 navigational structures; specific dredging projects such as:

- Baltimore Harbor, MD: Bucket dredge type, placement at Poplar Island and Cox Creek, quantity of 2,292,000 CY at depths of 50 ft and 22 ft.

- York Spit, VA: Hopper dredge type, placement at Wolf Trap Alternate Northern Extension, quantity of 2,600,000 CY at a depth of 50 ft.

- North East River, MD: Pipeline dredge type with a quantity of 50,000 CY at a depth of 7 ft.

- Various other projects across Maryland and Virginia with specific dredge types (Bucket, Hopper, Pipeline), quantities ranging from 15,000 CY to over 2 million CY, and depths varying from 7 ft to 50 ft.

The period of performance for these contracts spans from October 2024 through December 2028 depending on the specific project schedules outlined in the solicitation.
