Nortel Switch Maintenance

Background
The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Sigonella (FLCSI) Souda Bay Detachment, located in Souda Bay, Greece, is conducting market research for Nortel switch maintenance services at NSA Souda Bay. The goal of this effort is to gather information on best practices and cost estimates for these services, as outlined in the draft Performance Work Statement (PWS).

This RFI is intended to understand market availability, technical characteristics, cost, and functionality of IT tools and applications that can meet the lifecycle requirements described.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing an Extended Service Plan (ESP) that includes:
1. Reliable and responsive around-the-clock technical assistance and repair services for the Nortel/Meridian Telecommunication switches at NSA Souda Bay.
2. Restoration services, access to equipment, card replacement, upgrades, software updates, and licenses for existing equipment.
3. Compliance with Department of Defense (DOD) and Department of Navy (DON) policies regarding services covered under this contract.
4. Management of the contract to ensure it meets the needs for fast, safe, secure, dependable telecommunications services.

Period of Performance
The period of performance is anticipated to begin on April 1, 2025, and continue through March 31, 2029. This includes a base year followed by three optional years.
