The contractor will provide Non-Emergent Wheelchair Transportation Services for Veterans to and from the Michael E. DeBakey VAMC, its associated CBOCs, and other medical centers as specified in the draft performance work statement. Services include:
- Transporting Veterans to various locations within the MEDVAMC campus including specific clinics, emergency departments, and out-buildings.
- Providing transportation to CBOCs such as Beaumont VA Clinic, Lufkin VA Clinic, Conroe VA Clinic, Galveston County VA Clinic, Katy VA Clinic, Kingwood VA Clinic, Lake Jackson VA Clinic, Richmond VA Clinic, Sugar Land VA Clinic, Texas City VA Clinic, Tomball VA Clinic.
- Transporting to other VA Medical Centers within VISN 16 and authorized non-VA medical facilities.
- Ensuring safe transport to Veteran residences and local airports including George Bush Intercontinental Airport and William P. Hobby Airport.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a base period of one year with four additional one-year ordering periods for a total potential duration of five years.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed primarily in Texas but may also extend to Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana. Specific locations include the Michael E. DeBakey VAMC at 2002 Holcombe Blvd., Houston TX 77030 and various CBOCs across Texas.
