Background
The Northern Arizona VA Healthcare System (NAVAHCS) requires contracted non-emergency ambulance transportation services for its main campus and associated Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs).
The contractor will provide all necessary vehicles, personnel, management, supplies, equipment, and reporting for Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) services.

Work Details

Services include:
1. Providing BLS and ALS ambulance services on an as-needed basis.
2. Transporting patients along with their luggage, medical records, medications, and comfort items at no additional cost.
3. Ensuring that all personnel meet qualifications specified in the contract and applicable regulations.
4. Maintaining ambulances that comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
5. Conducting background checks for personnel to ensure they have not been convicted of felonies in the past five years.
6. Providing timely response times for transport requests: within 30 minutes for scheduled requests and up to 60 minutes for unscheduled requests.

Period of Performance
The contract period is from July 1, 2026, through September 30, 2026, with four additional option periods available.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the Northern Arizona VA Health Care System located at 500 N Highway 89 North, Prescott, Arizona 86313.
