Background
The Northern Arizona VA Healthcare System (NAVAHCS), located at 500 Highway 89 North, Prescott, Arizona, serves over 31,640 veterans across six counties in Northern Arizona. The facility has 15 inpatient beds and handles approximately 1,190 inpatient admissions and 196,623 outpatient visits annually.

The goal of this contract is to provide non-emergency ambulance transportation services to eligible beneficiaries using NAVAHCS and its associated Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs).

Work Details
The contractor shall provide Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulance services on an as-needed basis, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Services include:
- Providing all vehicles, personnel, management, supplies, equipment, and necessary reporting for BLS and ALS services.
- Making ambulance services available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
- Transporting patients along with their luggage, medical records, medications, and comfort items at no additional cost.
- Ensuring that all personnel are courteous and conduct themselves professionally while providing services.
- Maintaining ambulances in compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
- Providing sufficient vehicles and personnel to handle up to two simultaneous transportation requests.
- Responding to scheduled orders within specified timeframes: within thirty minutes for non-emergent transport requests originating from VA facilities.
