Description

Non-emergency ambulance transportation services for Clement J Zablocki VA Medical Center and other VA and non-VA medical facilities

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is seeking contracted non-emergency ambulance transportation services for its facilities and associated Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs).

The goal of this contract is to provide essential transportation services to over 60,000 veterans across southeastern and central Wisconsin, ensuring they receive timely medical care.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all necessary vehicles, personnel, management, supplies, equipment, and reporting for the provision of non-emergency ambulance services including Stretcher Transports, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), and Critical Care Transport (CCT) services. Services must be available 24/7.

Specific requirements include:
1. Types of Ambulance Service: Non-emergent BLS, ALS, and CCT Tier 1, 2, and 3.
2. Transport of Miscellaneous Items: The contractor may transport patient luggage, medical records, medication, and comfort items at no additional cost.
3. Contractor Personnel: Must provide qualified personnel including Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) and Critical Care Transport Paramedics (CCTPs).
