Non-Destructive Inspection (NDI) Training   2

Background
The United States Coast Guard (USCG), Aviation Logistics Center (ALC), Engineering Services Division (ESD) is seeking to procure in-person initial aircraft Non-Destructive Inspection (NDI) training. This training is essential for maintaining the airworthiness of the USCG's fleet of approximately 200 aircraft, which undergo scheduled and unscheduled maintenance at 27 different USCG Air Stations across the country.

The goal of this contract is to ensure that personnel are adequately trained in NDI methods, which include Eddy Current, Fluorescent Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, and Ultrasonic techniques, in compliance with OEM and USCG maintenance inspection procedures.

Work Details
The contractor will provide initial NDI training for 30 to 45 students per session and NAS-410 Level 3 training for one individual per session. Training sessions will consist of:
1. **Fluorescent Penetrant (PT)**: Minimum of 20 hours covering Type I Method C Form D inspections on aircraft products.
2. **Magnetic Particle (MT)**: Minimum of 20 hours focusing on portable magnetic particle inspections using electromagnetic yokes.
3. **Eddy Current (ET)**: Minimum of 40 hours on surface probe inspections and low-frequency inspections between layers.
4. **Ultrasonic (UT)**: Minimum of 40 hours on longitudinal and shear wave ultrasonic inspections using specific equipment.

Each training session will last a minimum of 15 business days, not exceeding 19 business days, with a maximum of 15 students per session. The contractor must also provide all necessary equipment and materials for training, including Olympus Nortec devices and safety gear. Examinations will be conducted to verify technical qualifications, with scores provided to both students and the USCG POC.

Place of Performance
Training will be conducted at the contractor's domestic facility.
