NOAA Florida Keys Exterior door repair

Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary (FKNMS) requires a contractor to repair operating mechanisms for doors installed throughout Nancy Foster Florida Keys Environmental Complex (Nancy Foster Complex or NFC), located at 33 East Quay Road, Key West, FL 33040. Over the course of time and exposure to the harsh weather conditions of the Florida Keys, many of the exterior door operating mechanisms throughout the FKNMS NFC have deteriorated. Some of the doors have become inoperable while others need reconditioning and/or replacement parts to be restored to fully functioning. Details are included in the attached Scope of Work (SOW). The National Weather Service office, also located in Key West, is similarly experiencing issues with some exterior doors, so this task may be expanded to include that facility as well.
