NNSY Job Fair Rental Space   2

Background
The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), specifically the Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY), is seeking to award a Firm-Fixed-Price contract for rental space services to support the NNSY Job Fair. The goal of this contract is to provide a venue capable of accommodating between 700 and 1000 attendees, facilitating the recruitment efforts of NNSY. This requirement will be solicited as Full & Open competition.

Work Details
The contractor will provide rental space for the NNSY Career Fair on specified dates from February 2025 through December 2025. The venue must have a minimum square footage of 12,000 square feet and be able to host events during the hours of 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM EST, with setup from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM and takedown from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

Specific tasks include:
- Providing a separate interview area with privacy barriers and electrical outlets.
- Setting up booths with colored pipe and drape, including various uprights, bases, and panels.
- Supplying tables and chairs with colored linen and skirting for interviews and general use.
- Ensuring high-speed wireless internet access for at least 40 laptops.
- Providing security personnel, including two armed guards during event hours.
- Conducting a site visit prior to each event with NNSY stakeholders for security planning.
- Submitting an Emergency Action Plan two weeks before each career fair.
- Ensuring adequate bathroom facilities are accessible near the event area.

Place of Performance
The events will take place at designated venues such as Renaissance Portsmouth and Chesapeake Conference Center.
